If Christmas is a federal holiday, why can’t the logo say Merry Christmas when you pass the mouse over it? Or for equalities sake, have all the holiday logos say happy holidays. I don’t think the Halloween logo had happy holidays pop up when the mouse was passed over it.

I like this kind of design because I love postcard personally. Postcard could bring the wishes to the person you sent and also bring happiness during the journey. :)

these xmas google holiday are a BIG deception. Ugly totally uninspired “design”.
i’ve always liked collecting the google logo’s, because they are so unique. I musst say these are not worth having!!! WHO the hell came up with the idea??? Is there a way to “tell google” about it? (GRIN)

This is awful. Google can’t even wish people a Merry Christmas on Christmas day. They have logos and greetings for all kinds of “celebrations” from the birthday of a Japanese artist to the discovery of water on the moon to childrens’ day in India, but not even a simple Merry Christmas. The Google “Empire” needs to take some time to reflect on what Christmas is and rejoce over the birth of Christ. Stop trying to be so politically correct.

Would like to have the google.co.uk site to say “Happy Christmas” as has been the culture in the UK for the last few centuries. This is one of the major festivals in the UK that is called “Christmas” and we get this insult message talking about holidays that misses the point and demeans the British culture. Whilst the UK is inclusive all the other festivals of UK residents, lets not insult one of the primary festivals of the British culture.

I always look forward to seeing Google Christmas/New Year logos – very disappointed this year as it’s very ordinary in my opinion.

“Happy Holidays” sounds like a greeting that you give someone who is jetting off to find some sun. What is so wrong with Happy Christmas?
